SD 48 67 BOLTON-LE-SANDS MAIN ROAD (EAST SIDE)

Public house, early C19th. Rendered rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys.
Facade to Main Road has earlier, taller, portion to the right, of 2 bays
with plain stone window surrounds and end stacks. Left-hand portion has
one plain stone window surround to the right on the ground floor, 2
similar surrounds on the 1st floor, and a chimney stack on the left-hand
gable. The right-hand gable of the building faces down Main Road, with
chamfered quoins a plain stone door surround to the right, a plain stone
window surround to the left and 2 similar surrounds on the 1st floor.
Later extensions face Packet lane and are not included in the item. Listed
for group value.
