Lodge, adjoining Carus Lodge Cottage

Drive entrance, c.1840. Sandstone. 6 identical piers: 2 to central
gateway, with one more on each side forming pedestrian entrances, each
linked by a convex stone wall to outer piers. West wall topped by cast
iron railings with tracery decoration. East wall has lost its railings.
Piers octagonal with castellated tops and 4 sides decorated by gablets and
sunken panels with cusped heads.
