9/200 Hammerton Hall Bridge, (No. lll)


Bridge over the Lancaster Canal, opened in 1797. Large punched gritstone
blocks. Single semi-elliptical arch with projecting keystone. String course
under solid parapet with rounded coping. Part of this bridge is in the
former Lancaster MB, q.v.
