Milestone, c1800. Sandstone, with cast iron plates. Triangular section,
semi-circular at base. Base inscribed 'SLYNE-WITH-HEST'. Left-hand
plate reads 'Hest Bank 1/4 mile'. Right-hand plate reads 'Lancaster III
miles'.
