Dolphinholme Bridge

GV II

Bridge, 1791. Sandstone ashlar. Single segmental arch with alternately
projecting voussoirs. 2 pairs of end piers. String course below solid
parapet with shaped coping. On the upstream side at the northern end a
voussoir is inscribed: 'S. Law 1791'. The soffit of the arch has many
masons' marks.
