House, early-to-mid C18th. Watershot sandstone with roof of stone slate and
slate. Double-pile plan. A symmetrical composition of 2 storeys with attic
and 3 bays, with chamfered quoins and a plain band at 1st floor level.
Windows have projecting stone surrounds and square mullions. They are of 3
lights except for the central one on the 1st floor, which is of 2 lights. The
door has a shouldered architrave flanked by pilaster strips with brackets, and
with a pulvinated frieze and moulded segmental pediment. Gables have
chimneys, and copings with kneelers. Interior not accessible at time of
survey.
