GV II

Gatepiers and railings at entrance to former driveway to Quernmore Park
(q.v.), early C19th. Sandstone ashlar with cast iron railings. Driveway
flinked by 2 pairs of piers of square plan with moulded cornices. On each
side the frieze has 3 raised roundels. On top of each piers is a smaller
square cap. On each side a low curved wall topped by railings terminates with
a similar pier. The railings have elaborate cast iron finials.
