House, 1706, altered. Pebbledashed rubble with slate roof. 3-cell plan. 2
storeys. The left-hand cell is said to be a conversion of a farm building
and has windows with rendered reveals: a modern one on the ground floor
and a 6-pane sash on the 1st floor. The middle cell has 2 modern
ground-floor windows with rendered surrounds, and a 3-light rebated and
chamfered mullioned window on the lst floor. The right-hand cell has a
sashed window with rendered surround. Further right is a window with a
stone surround with slight chamfer and a central flat-faced mullion. On
the 1st floor is a similar window. Door, to left of central cell under a
glazed porch, has a chamfered surround with a lintel inscribed: 'WBA
1706'. Chimneys on right-hand gable and to left of door. Interior has some
chamfered main ceiling joists. In the middle room is a shouldered stone
fireplace, now with its chimney blocked and the cap removed.
