Lodge to Summerfield House (q.v.), probably 1840s by George Webster.
Sandstone rubble with hipped slate roof. One storey with attic. North
facade has one bay on each side of a central door projection and has
overhanging eaves and corner pilaster strips. The central projection has a
pedimented gable. The windows have chamfered stone surrounds, a central
timber mullion, and leaded glazing. Their upper parts are now blank. The
doorway has a chamfered stone surround. Above is a floating cornice on
square corbels. Chimneys, with octagonal shafts, in centre behind ridge.
