5/56 Abbotson Farmhouse

II

House, probably mid C18th. Sandstone rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys, 3
bays. Ground floor windows of 3 lights with flat-faced mullions. The outer
1st floor windows are of 2 lights, rebated and chamfered with mullion. The
central 1st floor window has plain reveals. Each window has one light
sashed. All have glazing bars. The left-hand ground-floor window appears
to be a modern copy. Door, in central bay, has plain stone surround. Gable
chimneys.
