Boundary stone, C19th. Comprises an upright flagstone with rounded top.
Upper part of face divided by vertical line. To the left is inscribed:
'WEST RIDING YORKSHIRE.'To the right: 'LANCASHIRE.' Below is inscribed:
'LANCASTER & RICHMOND ROAD. BURTON.' Part of this boundary stone is in
Burton in Lonsdale C.P. in the County of North Yorkshire (q.v.)
