SD 55 SW OVER WYRESDALE

11/4 Farm building on north side of
- farmyard, approx. 20 metres west
of Catshaw Hall

GV II

Farm building, possibly originally pigsty and henhouse, probably late
C17th. Sandstone rubble with stone slate roof. Single storey. South wall
has 2 adjacent doorways near centre of facade, each with a surround whose
chamfer is carried across the face of the lintel to form a triangle. Under
the apex of the west gable is a small chamfered opening with a flagstone
projecting under it to form a perch.
