House, 1741. Sandstone rubble with roof of tiles imitating stone slates.
Double-depth plan. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Windows, of 3 lights, have stone
surrounds with a slight chamfer and flat-faced mullions. Those on the
ground floor have had their sills lowered and mullions restored in
concrete. The gabled porch, between bays, has a front with 2 upright
dressed stones forming the door jambs and a 3rd triangular stone under the
apex forming the lintel. The latter is carved with an oval plaque
inscribed: 'IIM 1741'. Gables have chimneys, and copings with kneelers. At
the rear are some re-used rebated and chamfered C17th window surrounds.
Interior has tunnel-vaulted cellar with well.
