SD 66 NW TATHAM

2/96 Station House

House, late C17th, altered. Slobbered rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys.
Original windows rebated and chamfered with mullions. To the right of the
door is one of 3 lights, with a one-light fire window at the right. To the
left of the door is a blocked window. Further left is a sashed window with
glazing bars in a rendered surround. On the lst floor are 3 similar
windows, irregularly spaced. To the right of the left-hand one is a small
sashed window with no glazing bars. The door has an architrave and a
keystone inscribed: '1731'. Above is a hood of 2 pitched stone slates. End
chimneys, the left-hand one carried on stone corbels. Interior not
accessible at time of survey.
