Public house, 1744. Scored render with stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays
with chamfered quoins. Windows have stone surrounds with a slight chamfer
and with flat-faced mullions. All are of 2 lights except for the left-hand
one on the ground floor which is of 3 lights. The right-hand ground-floor
window has lost its mullion. The door, in the central bay, has a plain
stone surround with a flagstone forming a hood. Above is a plaque
inscribed: 'WCA 1744'. Gable chimneys. At the left a lower bay of exposed
sandstone rubble joins the public house to Bridge Inn Cottage (q.v.) It
has a ground-floor window with plain stone surround and one on the 1st
floor with plain reveals.
