2/102 Far Mealbank Farmhouse and barn
4-10-1967 adjoining to east

House and barn, mid C18th. Sandstone rubble with stone slate roof. 2
storeys, 2 bays. Windows are of lights and have plain stone surrounds
and flat-faced mullions. The frames are modern with glazing bars. The
left-hand ground-floor window has been enlarged from 2 to 3 lights. Door,
between bays, has plain stone surround. End chimneys. Immediately to the
left the barn has a doorway with plain reveals on both floors, the lower
one under a flight of external stone steps. The main part of the barn
projects forwards and has a wide entrance with segmental arch. The
left-hand gable has 3 shippon doors, the left-hand and middle ones now
blocked.
