House, probably early C18th, and farm buildings probably later C18th.
Sandstone rubble, with stone slate roof to farm buildings and slate roof
to house. House is of 2 storeys with one bay on each side of a
single-storey gabled porch. Windows, irregularly spaced, have rebated and
chamfered surrounds. The door, to the right of the front porch wall, has a
stone surround. Chimney at right. To the right is a farm building which
has a door with plain reveals at the left. To the left is a barn whose
wide entrance has a segmental arch and a cruck re-used as an inner lintel.
At the left is a door with plain reveals. Inside, the right-hand room of
the house has axial main joists and a shouldered fireplace of C18th type.
In front of it is a recess in the ceiling for hanging meat to dry.
