2/125 Lane House and barn adjoining to

Laithe house, mid C18th. Watershot sandstone with stone slate roof. 2
storeys, 2 bays. Windows have flat-faced mullions and are of 2 lights
except for the left-hand one on the ground floor which is of 3 lights.
Door, between bays, has chamfered surround. Above the ground-floor window
is a crude drip course. End chimneys. The gable walls; barn, and rear wall
have projecting throughs. Inside, the left-hand room has a shouldered
stone fireplace. The barn, to the right, has a window with cement reveals
and a door with plain stone surround. The rear wall of the house has 2
re-used C17th windows. The barn has a wide entrance with segmental arch
and with a pitching hole above. To the left and right are doors, the
right-hand one with chamfered surround.
