House, late C18th. Sandstone rubble with stone slate roof, 2 storeys.
South-east wall, facing Mill Beck, of 2 bays. Windows have stone surrounds
and flat-faced mullions, of 3 lights at the left and 2 at the right. Gable
chimneys. North-west wall has windows with plain reveals and single-storey
timber porch. Adjoins site of Botton Mill, a water-powered corn mill,
demolished by 1895.
