House, 1732. Sandstone rubble with slate roof at front, stone slate at
rear. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays. Windows have flush
chamfered mullions, now covered by cement render, and are of 3 lights
except for the left-hand one on the ground floor which is of 4 lights and
the central one on the 1st floor which is of one sashed light with
chamfered stone surround. The door, in the central bay, has a worn
chamfered surround. Above is a shaped plaque inscribed: 'ISM 1732'. Gable
chimneys. Coped gables. Inside, a rear room has a cruck blade re-used as a
main ceiling joist. The dog-leg stair has turned balusters. On the 1st
floor there is a partition wall of raised and fielded panels.
