C18 origins. 2 storeys, pebble dashed, with Welsh slate roof and rusticated quoins. 3 windows to 1st floor, stone surrounds, no glazing bars. Ground floor has 2 C19 windows of 2 lights in chamfered reveals and 1 in stone surround. Late C19 doorway with carved spandrels, moulded cornice. To right, smaller doorway with plain pilasters and cornice, rectangular fanlight. Rendered plinth. 3 stone stacks.
Dog and Partridge Public House and No 3, The Towns Well and Nos 5 to 9 (odd) form a group No 5 being a building of local interest only.
