8/31 Barn at south-west side of farmyard


Barn, possibly early C19th. Squared sandstone with stone slate roof.
Single-storey outshuts to both long walls and openings with plain reveals,
all symmetrically treated. The north-east side has a wide doorway in the main
barn wall with a segmental arch of punched stone with keystone and with a
coat of arms re-set over it. Inside, the trusses are said to be softwood.
