House and shop, late C18th. Square coursed stone front with sandstone
dressings and slate roof, hipped at the left-hand side. 2 storeys, 2 bays,
with a one-bay extension to the right over a yard entrance. Windows have
plain stone surrounds and are sashed with glazing bars except the left-
hand ground-floor window which is sashed and the window over the yard
entrance which is sashed with no glazing bars. The door, between the
2 bays of the main house, has a plain stone surround. Its upper 4 panels
are raised and fielded. Above on the 1st floor is a worn sandstone
plaque, now illegible. Moulded eaves cornice. Chimneys to the right
of bay one and bay two.
