Barn, C17th, the north-west end converted into 2 cottages early C19th.
Sandstone rubble with roof of slate and of asbestos sheets. The north
wall has a wide chamfered entrance with triangular head, with a similar
smaller window to the right now blocked to form a window, and a door between
them with plain reveals. Above are chamfered ventilation slits. The
cottages to the left have modern windows with plain reveals. Their left-hand
gable has a coping, a blocked chamfered door surround, and a window under the
apex with a double-chamfered surround. The south wall has a wide entrance
with chamfered jambs and later wooden lintel, with a smaller door with
chamfered jambs and triangular head at the left, and 2 windows with plain
reveals between them. Above are chamfered ventilation slits. Inside the
barn are 3 trusses of re-used cruck timber, with tie beams and collars.
