GV II

House, mid C19th with C17th remains. Sandstone, squared and coursed at the
front and rubble at the rear. Slate roof. Double-pile plan with gable
stacks. 2 storeys with attics. North-west front of 3 bays, the windows
being sashed with architraves. The door has a shouldered architrave with
pulvinated frieze and triangular pediment. The gables have shaped bargeboards.
The left-hand gable has a one-light attic window with the remains of a
chamfered surround. The rear wall has double-chamfered mullioned windows.
To the left of the porch is one of 5 lights with one of the lights blocked,
to the right is one of 4 lights. On the 1st floor are 2 modern windows with
plain stone surrounds. Between them is a tall stair window using the remains
of double-chamfered surrounds. The door, inside an open stone porch, has
a chamfered surround with triangular head.
