Farmhouse, C17th, altered. Sandstone rubble with slate roof. 3-unit plan.
2 storeys. Continuous drip course over the ground floor, terminating
beyond the windows and interrupted by a later gabled porch. To the left
of the porch is a double-chamfered surround to a former 2-light window. To
the right is a modern window with sawn stone surround. To its right is a
blocked fire window, with a chamfered surround with its mullions removed
further right. On the 1st floor there is a double-chamfered surround at
the left, 2 blocked chamfered stair windows over the porch, a double-
chamfered surround to their right and 2 chamfered surrounds further right.
The right-hand gable has a 5-light double-chamfered mullioned window on
each floor, with a door to the left with a plain stone surround of long
and short stones. The left-hand gable has a 3-light chamfered mullioned
window on the ground floor, with a similar window of one light on the
1st floor. At the rear there is an outshut against part of the wall. On
each floor of the main house is a 3-light double-chamfered mullioned
window, with a blocked one-light chamfered window on each floor to the
right, close to the gable.
