SD 64 NE BOWLAND FOREST LOW

House, c.1800. Sandstone rubble with stone slate roof. 2 storeys. The south
wall is of 2 bays with plain stone window surrounds and a central doorway with
plain stone surround. At the left is a modern chimney cap. The north wall has
a one-light window with plain stone surround to the right of the porch and one
of 2 lights with square stone mullion to the left. On the 1st floor is a
7-light weaving window with square stone mullions. The later gabled stone
porch covers a door with plain stone surround.
