9/62 Boarsden Farmhouse
16.11.1954 (Formerly listed as Boarsden under
- II General)


House, late C18th. Squared watershot sandstone with slate roof. Double-
pile plan with central entry and end stacks. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays.
The windows have plain stone surrounds and are of 3 lights with square
mullions except for the central 1st floor window which is of 2 lights. The
gables have copings with kneelers. The chimney caps have moulded copings
and weathered offsets. The right-hand (east) gable wall has a door with
plain stone surround and two attic windows with plain stone surrounds.
The rear wall is of rubble with one re-used and extended 3-light double-
chamfered mullioned window, and parts of C17th surrounds used as jambs to
other windows. The stair window is sashed with glazing bars in a plain
stone surround.
