SD 7052-7152 SLAIDBURN CHURCH STREET (EAST SIDE)

House, possibly late C18th with C17th remains and C19th alterations.
Scored render with sandstone dressings and slate roof. 2 storeys,
4 bays. The windows are 6-pane sashes with rebated and chamfered
surrounds, except for the left-hand bay which has plain stone surrounds.
The door is in the 3rd bay and has a chamfered stone surround with a
hood of 2 pitched stone slates. Chimneys on gables and to the right of
the left-hand bay. The left-hand (north) gable has a 1st floor door
towards the rear, with external stone steps, shared with the adjoining
building, which have a mounting block attached to their lower steps.
