Former stable adjoining to the north-east of No. 27

GV II

Former stable, now used as a store. Possible late C17th, or re-using C17th
dressings. Rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. The ground-floor
window has a chamfered surround. The 1st floor window is of 3 lights with
mullions, an inner hollow chamfer and an outer chamfer. The door, to the
right, has a wooden lintel and a chamfered left-hand jamb. Chimney to the
left. At the rear is a window and a door with plain reveals. The window
has a re-set shaped lintel. Inside 2 stalls for horses remain. The roof
has one truss with tie beam, light collar, and queen struts.
