House, formerly vicarage, probably early Cl9th with mid Cl9th
alterations. Slobbered rubble with sandstone dressings and slate roof.
South-west front of 3 bays with small gable over central bay and with
chamfered quoins. Windows sashed with glazing bars and plain stone
surrounds. The central single-storey porch has octagonal corner
pillars with pinnacles, and an embattled parapet. The outer chamfered
doorway has a Tudor-arched head. The inner doorway has a plain stone
surround. End stacks. The south-east (garden) front is of 2 bays
with chamfered quoins and central small gable with chimney. To the
right on the ground floor is a 6-light mullioned and transomed window
with chamfered stone surround and hood. To the left is a canted
bay window with similar details, a total of 8 lights, and an embattled
parapet. Both windows are glazed with margin lights. The 1st floor windows
are sashed with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds.
