12/91 Mitton Bridge (that part in the
16.11.1954 former Bowland Rd)
Bridge over the River Ribble, probably early C19th. Sandstone
ashlar. 3 segmental arches with rounded cutwaters. Solid parapet
with string and weathered coping. The southern parapet is inscribed
'LITTLE MITTON LANCASHIRE. GREAT MITTON YORKSHIRE'. Part of this
bridge is in Little Mitton parish (q.v.).
