GV II

Former mill, now used as farm building, 1818. Rubble with slate roof.
L-plan. 2 storeys with attic. South wall, on inner side of 'L', has a
window with plain stone surround on each floor, and a door with plain
stone surround on each floor to the left, the 1st floor one now blocked.
The west wall, also on the inside of the 'L', has a window with plain
stone surround on both floors, the 1st floor one having a central square
mullion. To the right on the ground floor is a wide doorway with plain
stone surround and semi-circular head. Above on the 1st floor is a
door with plain stone surround and 'WA 1818' inscribed on the lintel.
The north wall has, beneath a gable at the left, a door with plain stone
surround. To its right is a 2-light window with plain stone surround and
square mullion. On the 1st floor are 3 similar windows. The attic has a
similar window, once of 3 lights but now with one mullion remaining. The
wing at the right has a window with plain stone surround on each floor.
The east wall has 3 openings with relieving arches. The right-hand one
is blocked; the others have windows with plain stone surrounds. On the
1st floor are 2 windows with plain stone surrounds. Interior has original
floors, and a platform for millstones supported by stone pillars.
