16-11-1954 Gisburn Bridge


Bridge, C18th, sandstone ashlar. 2 segmental arches with triangular
cutwaters, and a 3rd floodwater arch at southern end. Solid parapets have
string course and weathered coping. Curved retaining walls to approaches.
Part of this bridge is in Paythorne c.p. (q.v.).
