Barn, probably early C19th. Limestone rubble with sandstone dressings and
stone slate roof, hipped at east side. 2 storeys. On the ground floor at
the south side are 3 plain stone surrounds with semi-circular heads above
flat lintels. The 2 outer ones are filled by limestone rubble,a sandstone
flag filling each tympanum. The upper part of the central surround is now
glazed, the tympanum being filled by timber. Above on the 1st floor is a
circular pitching hole with plain stone surround. At the rear are 2 doors
with plain stone surrounds. Possibly once associated with stables to the
New Inn, which is the neighbouring building on the east side.
