The Huntsman's House

(formerly listed as two cottages, Ellenthorpe Farm)

GV II

House, possibly c.1800 with C17th remains. Slobbered rubble with
stone slate roof. Double-pile plan with end chimneys. 2 storeys.
Each house of one bay, having windows with double-chamfered surrounds.
Those on the ground floor have been enlarged, and those on the 1st
floor have flat lintels. The paired doors have chamfered surrounds,
the right-hand one having a lintel inscribed 'CED 1678'. Listed for
group value only.
