House now offices, early to mid C19. Brick (in Flemish bond) with
sandstone dressings (now painted), slate roof and gable stacks. 3 storeys
above a cellar, 2 bays but not quite symmetrical. Top cornice, Doorcase
(up 3 steps) has engaged Tuscan columns supporting a simple cornice, under
which is a semi-elliptical fanlight. All windows have plain reveals, stone
lintels and sills, and sashes without glazing bars. Original cast-iron
railings to area survive with, alternately, stick balusters and balusters
composed of reversed Ss.
