Farmhouse, C17, enlarged and altered in C19 and C20. Roughcast brick, slate
roof. L-shaped plan: 2-bay baffle-entry front range extended to 3 bays, with
rear wing to 1st bay. Two storeys, with chimneys at left gable and on ridge
at junction of 2nd and 3rd bays, front door in modern porch (replacing former
2-storey porch) at junction of 2nd and 3rd bays, another door to 1st bay, this
and the window to the left covered by modern glazed lean-to, three 4-pane
sashes on each floor. Left return wall has 2 windows on each floor, those to

and 2 beams all with stopped 1/4-round moulding; rear wing has 2 large
cambered beams with stopped ovolo moulding; 1st floor has timber-framed
partition walls, and in 2nd bay 2 large beams with cyma-stopped chamfer.
