House, dated 1784, added to and partly incorporating C17 Knuzden Hall
Farmhouse (q.v.). Watershot coursed sandstone with quoins, slate roof
with gable chimneys. Three bays and 3 storeys; symmetrical 5 window-
facade, with moulded stone eaves cornice; central panelled door has
semi-circular fanlight with intersecting glazing bars, Tuscan doorcase
with open pediment; tall windows to ground and 1st floors, square windows
to 2nd floor, all replacements with glazing bars. Quoin at left corner
lettered " TB (= Thomas Baron).

Interior: good contemporary staircase with scrolled brackets, open string,
stick balusters, ramped handrail; ground floor room at rear of 3rd bay has
chamfered beams and one 3-light double chamfered stone mullion window.
