Doorway of former house, now only an isolated archway on old foundations at
junction of 2 footpaths over moor. Dated 1672 on lintel, and 1612 on
datestone above. Sandstone. Triangular-headed moulded doorway with
long-and-short jambstones, raised lettering on the lintel:

Mounted above the lintel (probably re-located) a datestone in moulded
surround, with raised lettering:

HOVS MAY 1612
