House, probably mid-C19, altered. Red brick with stone dressings,
low-pitched hipped slate roof with ridge chimney. Small single-depth 2-bay
plan. Two storeys; doorway up 2 steps, offset to left hand side, has
chamfered arched stone surround with hoodmould; left of this another
doorway, now mostly blocked but with a window in the head; to the right, 2
windows on each floor, all vertical rectangular but now altered as top-hung
casements, and all with hoodmoulds like that over the door. Right return
wall has one similar window on each floor (overlooking churchyard of Church
of St. Michael). Item adjoins right end of Nos. 12 and 14 Church Street
(q.v.), projecting a little in front of them (and in front of the general
building line of this side of the street). Listed for group value.
