Three almshouses, now 2 cottages. Dated 1692, altered. Coursed thin
sandstone rubble, stone slate roof with brick gable chimneys. Rectangular
3-unit plan. Single storey; a doorway at each end, former doorway right of
centre altered as window, 4 casements (including this) of 3, 2, 2 and 3
lights; between the first 2 windows a triangular-headed stone plaque
lettered in relief:

Rear covered by modern flat-roofed service addition. Interior: formerly 3
single-cell dwellings, but altered by partition of that in the centre
between the other two. Garden wall enclosing area c.3 metres deep in
front, of sandstone rubble, c.l metre high, with rounded coping; central
gateway with short piers faced and topped with punched rounded stone.
