Outer gateway with 4 gatepiers. Perhaps C18. Dressed sandstone. Two
inner and 2 widely spaced outer piers, all square in section and very tall,
of rusticated masonry with cornices, plain friezes and very prominent
moulded caps; inner and outer piers on each side linked by low stone wall,
lacking railings.
