House. Dated 1770 at 1st floor. High stone plinth with chamfered copings,
handmade brick with dressed stone quoins, stone slate roof hipped at right
end. L-shaped plan: 3 bays with receding wing to rear of 3rd. Two
storeys; fielded panel door at junction of 2nd and 3rd bays, three 16-pane
sashes at ground floor and three 12-pane sashes above, those at ground
floor with keystones in gauged segmental brick heads; at 1st floor above
the door a square datestone inscribed J R. Right return wall mostly
1770
covered by large lean-to glazed porch or conservatory; ridge chimney to
wing. (Later addition at left end, separate dwelling, not included in the
item). Interior not inspected.
