Farmhouse, dated 1756. Thin sandstone rubble in watershot coursing with
low plinth and some quoins, roof of stone slates with double chimney
stack of brick on the ridge. Three bays on north-south alignment. Two
storeys: no clear front, but south gable wall has door with large
rectangular jambs, one window on each floor, a blocked attic opening,
and over this a square datestone with chamfered surround and incised
lettering: T : E. West side has a blocked doorway in line with chimney
1756
at junction of south and centre bays, 2 large windows at ground floor and 3
smaller windows above; east side has door with large rectangular jambs,
one window on each floor, but is otherwise covered by abutting farmbuilding.
Most windows now top-hung casements. Lean-to dairy at north end. Interior:
shouldered fireplace in south bay.
