Cottage, C18, now park office and museum. Watershot coursed sandstone
blocks, stone slate roof with chimney at left gable and another on ridge
close to right end. Double pile 2-bay plan. Two storeys and cellar;
symmetrical: central doorway with plain jambs and lintel, 2 windows
on each floor, all 2-light casements with glazing bars, plain sills
and heads. Left return wall has a door and 2 smaller windows on
each floor; right return wall partly covered by lean-to garage incorporates
a cambered wooden lintel, and has a sunk doorway to the cellar.
