Farmhouse, dated 1782 on eaves band. Coursed sandstone, stone slate
roof with stone gutter brackets, gable chimneys (of brick), kneelers
to the rear with ball finials. Two-bay double-pile plan. Two storeys,
symmetrical: rusticated quoins, bands on 3 levels (at heads of ground
floor windows, sills and heads of 1st floor windows); doorway with
plain surround and damaged glasshouse porch, 2 windows each floor all
sashed with glazing bars and 3 panes in each leaf. Attached at left
side is single storey lean-to of random rubble which has been mainly
altered, but has in the side wall the remains of flush-mullioned
windows, possibly to a loomshop.
