Lychgate, dated 1906 in rear gable. Dressed sandstone, stone slate roof with
moulded coping. Square building in medieval style; large hollow-moulded
arches with hoodmoulds to front and rear, projecting angle buttresses with
weatherings and gableted heads, at all corners. Front of arch lettered
"I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE"; panel in gable lettered in memory of
John Pickop Esq., J.P. (died 1903); rear gable lettered with names of vicar
and churchwardens, dated 1906".
