House, 1692. Pebbledashed rubble with sandstone dressings and slate roof.
2 storeys, 3 bays, with 2 drip courses. Windows rebated and chamfered with
mullions. The left-hand ground-floor one is of 3 lights with a blocked
plain stone door surround immediately to its right. The right-hand window
is of 4 lights. The 1st floor windows are of 4, 3 and 5 lights. The door,
in the middle bay, has a moulded surround with shaped lintel inscribed:
'FSM [Francis & Martha Sherrington] 1692. Chimneys, on gables, have
weathered offsets and cornices. Interior has plastered axial beams and 2
C17 oak doors.
