1/86 Forton Lodge

House, c.1800, altered probably mid C19. Squared sandstone with hipped
slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Facade has plinth, band, and cornice. The
windows have plain reveals and have glazing bars to their upper Sashes.
The left-hand bay has an added single-storey canted bay window with
embattled parapet. The doorway, in the central bay, has a round arch with
fanlight and 2 detached fluted columns. Chimney in centre of ridge.
